May 7th through the 13th is Bike Week in Monterey. You can participate by simply riding your bike to school or work or anywhere else you plan on going. With the beautiful weather we have been having it will be a great way to get out on your bike. There are several bike events planned throughout the week. There is a company challenge so the company that has the most employees who ride will be given a bicycle friendly award and the employees will be entered to win some great local prizes. Twilight ride at Laguna Seca is a very unique event. Have you ever wanted to race the course at Laguna Seca but didnt' have the thousands of dollars or a full race team? Yeah me too, but now with the twilight rides at Laguna Seca you can get out on the track with your bike and ride for the evening. They have some contests and drawings and things like that this is a good event. On May 12th they are having the intergenerational ride so how many generations of your family can you get together to go on a bike ride? This ride is at the Ft. Ord Dunes state park. I haven't checked out this park which is one of the newest in the state. But this seems like it would be a fun ride to go on with a couple generations of your family.
