5th Annual Hike For Charity

The upcoming 5th annual Toro Park Hike For Charity is coming on Saturday June 11, 2011. So if you find yourself in the Monterey area on vacation or you are a local  resident consider coming out to Toro Park for a beautiful day of hiking in one of Monterey Counties parks with a group of people to support one of the following charities. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) YMCA of Monterey County supports youth in Monterey County. Last but not least is the Hospice Foundation. These charities I'm sure have helped us all at one point or another so let's support them either by hiking or just making a donation. I hope to see all of you out there in Toro Park for a beautiful day.

     The following hikes are available.

6 mile strenuous hike 12 years and older recommended starts at 9:00 am

2-3 miles 6 years and older recommended starts at 10:00 am

1 mile easy hike all ages starts at 11:00 am

All hikes should finish about the same time and food and drinks will be available at the finish.
